1.
Don't bitch about what we are eating or how much. You did that while we
were getting fat and it didn't help then either.
2.
Don't bring us treats. That can be a sub-conscience effort to see us fail.
3.
If you know of foods we abuse, please, don't bring them into the house.
If you can't live without it, just hide it.
4.
If you offer us food and we say no.....don't ask if we are sure.
5.
Don't bring us food without asking.
6.
Don't insist that we eat just because you are hungry. Our eating habits
will probably be different after surgery.
The
above tips are based on my experience and my continued fights with my
food demons. The surgery is a powerful tool but there are other battles
to fight. Please help us.
